Grp stands for glass reinforced plastic and is also referred to as fibreglass roofing. Dryseal grp can be simply abraded and repaired with resin lamination in the same manner throughout its whole life. Glass reinforced plastic grp is comprised of polyester resin and chopped strand mat glass fibres which are mixed together to form a laminate. No degradation or loss of constituent chemicals occurs with dryseal grp.

Grp is composed of a resin with glass or fibrous strands that reinforce the roofing material. Grp fibreglass has become one of the most popular forms of flat roofing systems because it is not only a strong material but doesn t add too much extra weight to the structure.

Our grp flat roofing systems combine a number of materials including osb3 board decking topseal resin fibreglass matting topseal durable topcoat and topseal fibreglass preformed trims to create a roof that s not only tough and impact resistant but also attractive and pleasing to the eye. Although the resin is a liquid a catalyst is applied which starts a curing process to turn the liquid into a solid over a short period of time. This allows the grp membrane to be secured to the roof construction but still be allowed to move independently of the layers below.
